Drivers for Dell Latitude 110L
I recently bought a Dell Latitude 110L Model PP10S laptop off the "streets" for about $50. It's got a Intel Celeron M Processor (1.5GH), 256 MB mem, 40 GB HD, and a DVD Rom, CD-RW. I think for $50 it's a pretty good deal, even though it doesn't have a wifi card. I just needed to reinstall the OS and plug in a spare wireless card I had laying around.
I had initially wanted to install the new Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron on there, but the installation keeps crashing in the mid way through, so I decided to just use Windows XP Pro instead. Bummer, I had wanted to try out the new Ubuntu, but I guess it's not time yet or it just can't handle it. So after I installed WinXP Pro, the system runs surprisingly very smooth. Even after I installed Firefox, AVG8.0, and OpenOffice 2.4. It's pretty much very much usable even with just 256 MB mem. I'll probably upgrade it later on once it gets too slow, or the memory prices drops a little more($50 for 1GB DDR right now).
When installing Windows, I ran into some problems finding the correct drivers for it. So far I've found a few driver, but there are still 3 yellow exclamation points left. Here are the drivers that were working correctly for this machine. Once I find the others I'll update them here. In the meantime, if anybody out there can help me out with last three device drivers, it would be greatly appreciated. =)
