Sony Vaio SZ650N Battery Error On Vista

I recently decided to finally upgrade my Sony Vaio SZ650N back up to Vista. Ever since I got the MacBook, I haven't been using the Vaio that much. So I decided to just clean up the laptop after I migrated all my stuff to the MacBook, and do a fresh install of Vista Ultimate. Might as well begin the migration now.

After downloading all the drivers, I installed the Sony® Notebook Utilities. Then ever since that, this pop up would keep showing up and force me to hibernate.

"The installed battery may not be properly connected to the computer or may not be compatible with the computer...."

No matter how many times I take the battery in and out, it won't make that error go away. So I found out in order to turn it off you either have to un-install the Utilities pack, or you can disable the "ISB Utility" in System Configurations in Vista:

Goto Start->Run->msconfig, then in Startup tab and uncheck ISB Utility.

Seems like the battery checker isn't working quite right.
